Warranty Overview
Applies to units manufactured after June 9, 2003: Serial numbers that start with E124 & higher. Not retroactive to units produced prior to June 9, 2003 - E123 & lower, refer to previous warranty certificate RP136.
Standard WarrantyClimateMaster residential heat pumps are backed by a standard 10-year limited warranty on major refrigerant circuit components and a 5-year limited warranty on all remaining covered components. The following accessories carry a 5-year limited warranty when installed with ClimateMaster units: Flow Controllers, Thermostats & Electric Heaters. A labor allowance is provided for failures that occur within 30 days of installation per the schedule below. See Limited Express warranty certificate RP404 for details.
Optional Factory Service Labor Allowance WarrantyPart Number - EWOSL
This optional warranty protection may be purchased on units manufactured after June 9, 2003. This warranty offers additional protection to the consumer by offsetting service labor costs. See the schedule below for the allowance amounts and term of coverage. To order this warranty, complete the application (sample next page) and submit to your distributor. This coverage must be purchased within 30 days of unit purchase.
